A summary of the responses received during the Regional Transport Strategy consultation will be presented at the Nestrans Board of Wednesday 4th November. You can view this report under item 4.3 from pages 33-48 of the board papers.
The report also highlights the range of engagement and consultation activities which took place during the 10-week period.
Nestrans officers have logged all individual comments and will go through each of these in detail to identify the specific changes that may be required to the strategy document. A summary of the comments received and how we have responded to them in the final strategy will be published on this website in due course.
It is intended that a further report will be presented to the Board at its next meeting in December 2020 for consideration and that officers will develop a revised final version of the strategy, taking account of the comments received and any input from the Board.
Following Board approval, the final strategy will be submitted to the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure and Connectivity for approval and thereafter adopted. Nestrans officers and partner colleagues will continue to work on the development of a delivery plan to support the final Nestrans 2040 strategy.
